Happiness (CC377)

Hi Everyone! I have been gone from the crafting scene for a while now...haven't I. Now let me say this, it is not that I really wanted to take such a Long break, it was needed. Back in March, I had let you know that I was dealing with some health issues, and in a considerable amount of pain. Well long story short, I had back Surgery. I had thought that I would bounce back rather quickly, and unforeseen to me, I did not. I had a difficult recovery, and am still doing alot of physical therapy. So that is where I have been for roughly the past 12 weeks or so. I do want to share that I am getting increasingly stronger and better as time passes, and I am thrilled to be back downstairs playing again!! :)
Today I played along in the color challenge on Splitcoast stampers. I thought what a great way to get my feet wet again! :) The colors for today were, Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, and Certainly Celery. We only have a few more days before Blushing Bride will be discontinued by Stampin' Up!, so if you don't have some yet... you had better hurry. :) Here is my card for the challenge -

I also used a set from the new SU catalog called Papaya Collage. I think I did pretty well considering the long hiatus..don't you!? Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

Heather :)

Good to hear you are getting stronger by the day. Don't overdo it though, we don't want setbacks. Hoping you will feel much much better by the time convention rolls around. I hope to see you there this July. Love your card btw.

Heather! I'm so happy to see you're back! I LOVE your work and you're one of my favorite artists! I'm happy that you're feeling better! I'm an athletic trainer and do physical therapy every day at work so I know how hard it can be! Feel free to email me if you have any questions or anything! Doesn't look like your stamping mo-jo went any where!!!!:-)
