Black and White Forever

Hi Everyone! I am still playing, and getting ready for my upcoming club gathering, and decided to knock out another sample for the ladies. I am trying to stay with some easy cards that still have that wow factor... Sometimes that is a challenge all by itself..Right! Well, I think this sample does it for me, and I am sure that the lades will like it too! Here is me sample -

This picture seems a little fuzzy, sorry. It is really hard to take a good picture of a black and white card.. TOO much contrast, but I think you can make it out. :) I used the sets Elements of Style, and Apothecary Art. I can not express how happy I was to see that this set was carried over from the occasions mini into the new SU catalog, So if you missed out on it earlier, no worries now! :) Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Hi Again Everyone! I have a quick post for you today.... I spent a little while yesterday playing with some of the new goodies from the upcoming 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog. Where did this year go?? Wow!  OK....onto the card...enough yada yada.... right! ya go -

I got inspiration from a Card Creations Magazine. I did alot of reading while I was on hiatus. The Designer paper that I used is from the pack called Comfort Cafe and is from the upcoming SU catalog. It has a great mix of both feminine and masculine designs. I love it! It also features some of the new SU in-colors too! I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below-

Happiness (CC377)

Hi Everyone! I have been gone from the crafting scene for a while now...haven't I. Now let me say this, it is not that I really wanted to take such a Long break, it was needed. Back in March, I had let you know that I was dealing with some health issues, and in a considerable amount of pain. Well long story short, I had back Surgery. I had thought that I would bounce back rather quickly, and unforeseen to me, I did not. I had a difficult recovery, and am still doing alot of physical therapy. So that is where I have been for roughly the past 12 weeks or so. I do want to share that I am getting increasingly stronger and better as time passes, and I am thrilled to be back downstairs playing again!! :)
Today I played along in the color challenge on Splitcoast stampers. I thought what a great way to get my feet wet again! :) The colors for today were, Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, and Certainly Celery. We only have a few more days before Blushing Bride will be discontinued by Stampin' Up!, so if you don't have some yet... you had better hurry. :) Here is my card for the challenge -
