For my Grads

Hey Everyone! I have a share today.. I made a card/invitation this afternoon for the Grads in my house. My beautiful step-daughter Cassidy is graduating from high school, and my oldest, who surprises me everyday with his wit and caring smile.. Sean, is graduating from middle school.

They are really very similar and very close, and it doesn't surprise me at all. I think he really looks up to her. :)
Happy times!
OK, onto the card... I used contraband, so please forgive me, but this occasions called for it.

I broke out my Paper Trey, By The Numbers dies, and some ancient Brilliant Blue card stock. I found a sheet of some big box store holographic DP. The congrats Grad and the congratulations banners are  from the SU set, Blue Ribbon. I punched a scallop circle the SU gold foil paper, and finally added the gold sequin trim and some piercing for detail. Really a straight forward card too. Love that! OK, off to bed for me.. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Heather :)

P.S. I have been having trouble with feed burner, and would love to know if ?anyone? out there is getting any updates from me? if you could reply to me that would be great.. :)

Stamps - Blue Ribbon
Paper - Brilliant Blue, Whisper White, no name DP from big box store, gold foil
ink - Brilliant Blue, black, crushed curry
Accessories - Big Shot, Paper Trey By the numbers dies, Scallop circle punch, Sequin Trim, Paper piercing tool, dimensional dots

Hi Heather - as always, gorgeous card! Congrats to your grads!

As for the Feedburner, part of it might be due to a recent update in Yahoo Mail's policy, which you can read about here: http://yahoomail.tumblr.com/post/82426900353/yahoo-dmarc-policy-change-what-should-senders-do

Hope this helps!

Gorgeous card. I agree with the use of the contraband on this card.....It really made it! (love that DP!) I have not been receiving your updates - probably 3 or 4 weeks now; don't know if it's on my end or yours though. But glad to have you back...lol!
