Case Creations

Hey Everyone.. I have a been busy in the sunshine, getting the yard cleaned up, as well as some spring cleaning too! While we are on the subject of cleaning, I decided to clean up my Pinterest "Likes" page also. I went through all the pins, put them on a board for later, or got to recreating what was pinned.. I had a few cards that I knew I wanted to Case.. So I decided that was going to be my launching point for this board clean up.. Here are my Cased Creations -

I cased myself for the card using the same layout and stamp set, just changed the colors and a few elements, and cased Inge Groot for the mini treat sack. Both of these creations are going to be made at this months club meeting.. I know the ladies will love them and it helps them get a card and gift packaging done for the upcoming Spring/Summer occasions.. :) OK, back to cleaning.. this time its my stamp desk.. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Everybunny

Hey Everyone! I have been busy with getting Easter cards made and sent this past week. This year is going by so fast, and my to do list keeps getting longer..On that subject, on my "to create" list was to make a pop up box card..A lot of them were floating around the inter webs a few months ago, and I simply never got around to it.. Well... I can now check this off my list. Whoop! I decided to make an extra special card for my Mom considering I was not going to be spending the holiday with her, and this kinda of card filled the bill. I followed the tutorial from Splitcoaststampers for the how to, and went to work..

Kinda of hard to get a good picture of it.. sorry.. I used a retired set called Everybunny.. one of my faves, and most of the images had yet to see ink, so it was about time. here is a closer view -

I used my Blendabilities and Copics to color the images.. it was super fun to create and I love how it all came together. I know my Mom will love it too! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Happy Easter Everybunny!

Hello DC

Hey Again Everyone! A few days ago I mentioned that I had been busy completing my Scrap Album from my recent trip to Washington D.C...and.... I said I would share.. So that is what I am doing today. :) if you have been following me for awhile, you know my issues with scrapping in general. Now don't get me wrong, I love to scrap. My problem is that I get lost is All there is to scrap at times.. ;) I was determined that this time I was not going to make this too hard on myself.. it was a 4 day trip.. how hard could that be? I decided to use the So you Project kit form the Occasions mini. The perfect size, and everything is there for me to complete the album in one sitting, OK maybe two.. Whoop! The project kit coordinates with a stamp set, also from the Occasions min, called So You.. Love it! Here is the front of my Album-

A big bonus with this kit, there are sample layouts right is the package.. with step by step instructions for those layouts.. So if you are new to scrapping, SU took care of all the guess work. Perfect for even the seasoned scrapper, with all that is included in the kit! Here are some of my favorite pages -

where we stayed in D.C.... and -

some of our favorite sites there.. :) This was such a fun Project, I think I will have to get another kit, and tell my husband to take me someplace else so I can do it all over again! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Soiree Of Kindness

Hello Everyone! I have a quick share this evening... I am trying to get ready for my club ladies this weekend, and getting my samples made and paper cut, and really trying to decide as to what we are going to make. I had decided last time we met that we would be using the Butterfly Thinlit dies from the Occasion mini catalog, I have spied SO many beautiful cards made with the Butterfly Basics Bundle, but SU has been having issues with back orders that are simply out of their control, I needed to change gears fast. Hmm.. what do I have in my stash that has a butterfly and coordinating tool.?. Well,... I have Kinda Eclectic, and that coordinates with the Elegant butterfly punch... Yea!! Here is my card -

I paired it with some of the Gold Soiree DSP, considering that some of the colors and the paper are soon on their way out, and if my ladies haven't played with them yet it had better happen soon. A really straight forward card with DSP, Paper, and ink! Perfect for club! OK... one down and two to go.. best get busy! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Butterfly Basics

Hey Everyone.. I have a share today.. I have a few birthdays to celebrate in the next few weeks.. So I broke down and made a few cards for my stash. My Sister-in law celebrates her birthday on St. Patrick's Day, and I always try to send her a card that is not a combined St. Pats/Birthday card. This year I used the new Butterfly Basics Set from the Occasions mini catalog. Lots of cards being made with this set as of late, so there is lots of inspiration out there on the Internet..:) Here is my/her card -

I chose to use some of the All Abloom DSP from the main catalog. I forgot that I even had some.. and how could I.. so many fun and bright patterns.. I cut my butterfly out, added it, but I thought it looked a little flat against the papers, so I cut out a second butterfly, but used window sheet this time, it added the perfect amount of depth I was looking for.

I also colored my designer vintage buttons with my lightest Rich Razzleberry  blendabilities marker, to add a pop of color, and bring it all together. :) OK, I need to be off to get this puppy in the mail. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Yea!!

I colored the image with my blendabilities markers and popped up a few things to give some depth, sponged a few clouds behind our party animals.. then added a strip of washi tape at the bottom..here is the inside...

Be Mine banner

Hello Everyone! I have a share today..I was busy trying to get valentines made and in the mail this past weekend...and the task has spilled over into the last two days too... While busy making cards, I amassed quite the pile of scraps on my desk of all the pretty papers found in the Stacked with Love DSP stack from the Occasions Catalog. I decided that when the cards were all done I would tackle that pile of scraps, and make SOMETHING... Most were not big enough to make a card with, so I decided on making a banner for Valentines Day..

I think it turned out super cute.. and didn't take long at all to make, and I get to enjoy it for years to come.. I was so excited about how cute it turned out that I decided to decorate a little pedestal picture frame with a little banner too -

Yes, that is me and the Hubs from our recent romp in Washington, D.C. I thought the little banner was the perfect addition to the pic..Fun right!? OK, I am off to get the kiddos from school.. thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Wood you be mine?

Hey Everyone! it's been awhile...But it was out of my control. My computer decided it had enough of me, and my demands, and decided to up and quit.. I should have seen it coming really.. life was going a little to smoothly.. :)

I also took a short trip with my darling husband to Washington D.C.. We took  in some sites, and took time to breathe a little with each other. We have never been "alone" on vacation together, and it was about time.. so thanks to my Mom, we escaped for a few days.. Yea! :)

So this week I am excited to have a new computer,  and to play with some new stamps that came while I was away. Whoop! Today I am sharing a card made with a Valentine set from the Occasions mini called "Wood you be Mine".. its a little quirky at first glance, but Super Fun!! Here is my card -

I used my Blendabilities markers to color this LOVE-able Lumberjack shouting "Timber!"
Here is the inside  -

I just separated the sentiment, masked it, and stamped the tree line image so it appears behind it. I love it! This is such a fun Valentine I can't wait to send it! :) Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

a dazzling 60 years

Hey Everyone! I have been busy, like the rest of you I am sure, getting ready for the upcoming holidays. This past weekend I painted our back hall, and yesterday I made an anniversary frame for my beloved neighbors. They are celebrating 60 years of marriage. Wow! I am just in awe of them every time we share stories over the fence with each other. They both are wonderfully amazing people, and full of life and love for each other. So, as a token of my love for them, I decided to make a frame for them. I made a card a few months back for a couple celebrating their 50th. A fellow demo, Carol Carriveau, made the suggestion to put it in a frame, so that's what I did. Thanks Carol! Here is the frame -

I just changed up the numbers, and used Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper in lieu of the gold foil on the original considering it is their diamond anniversary. :) Here is a close up -

I really loved making this for them, and I am sure they will love it too! OK, off to get some ingredients for this weekends Boy Scout bake sale! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Oh Happy Day

Hey Everyone! I mentioned in my post from yesterday, that I needed to sit down and crank out one more Birthday card this week. Well, that is just what I did. Here is my second birthday card this week -

I used two hostess sets for this card, Nuts about you, and Hello Love. :) Over the last couple of weeks I have had to do some reorganizing in my stamp/laundry room due to some plumbing issues. While I was putting things in their place, I found some retired SU cork sheets. Never opened of course, until yesterday... a little late to the party, but better late than never. :) Who knows, maybe you have some, and can breathe some new life into them too! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!
