It is a scrap page of my Nieces again. :) This page is actually another one of the SAB samples that I did for the display boards at Leadership...Here is my page -

I stamped the flower image in Versamark and added the punched flowers in differtent sizes for some added depth to the tone on tone punched borders. Turned out Super Sweet I think! :) Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

Bee Mine?

Hi Everyone! Happy Weekend! I have another quick post for you today. Today, on Facebook, Stampin' Up! is showcasing some Valentines made by the 2012 Artisan Award winners. Each month SU asks us if we would like to contribute to their Facebook wall with a holiday project. I always think to myself, "C'mon, are we going to pass up an opportunity to get a little inky?" Well, I sure can't! :) So here is my Valentine -

I had a little fun with my punches! What do ya think?? Inspiration came from Jan. issue of Paper Crafts. The beehive is made using the XL oval and the Large oval punches along with the word window punch. I inked the edges of the punched ovals with some More Mustard ink for some added depth. I hand cut the tree limb, and the leaves are made with the large oval punch. SU does not make an oval as small as I was looking for, so in order to make the bees, I cut a strip of So Saffron and Black paper 1/16 smaller than the 1/2 inch, which is 7/16ths. This way I can insert the ends of the strip of paper in from the back of the punch, and round the ends. Did that make sense? I just repeated that step with the black strip to make the stripes on the bees. The rest of the card is pretty self explanatory. I had so much fun making this card, I hope you get "BIZZY" with your punches too! :) Thanks for stopping by today and taking a peek! :)

Hi Everyone! I have a quick post for you this afternoon... The kiddo's have a day off of school, so my attention and time are at a minimum if ya' know what I mean. :) Anyway, I have a card to share with you today..My friend, and awesome upline, Julie Kasper, went and did something a little crazy, but way cool all at the same time. She got MARRIED!!! :) I am SO happy for her, that words cannot express..! So can you guess what kind of card I made?? What? did I make that too easy? Yep! A Wedding card -

Hi All! Has everyone recovered from the weekend? I hope so... :) I have a card and a 3D project to share with you today...I feel like I am repeating myself with these posts, considering these samples are some more of what I submitted for Leadership last month. But I want to share them with you, so I guess you'll have to hang in there just a little longer... I promise I won't disappoint. :) OK, onto the card -

I used the SAB set called Fresh Vintage for the background, and Pursuit of Happiness for the sentiment, which can be found in the main catalog. I wanted to create a delicate background, so I stamped the flourish in Versamark, and clear embossed it. I repeated the same technique on the sentiment panel. I thought about adding a few more embellishments, but decided not to, considering the beautiful DSP. It really speaks for itself, and I didn't want to cover it up. :) For the 3D-

I used the same papers and kept the stamping simple as to not to take away from the beautiful Everyday Enchantment DSP again. I really love making this little bag too. I made it using the Fancy Favor Box die for the Big Shot. I made the bottom of the bag as you normally would, following the template from the die. For the top of the bag, I simply cut off the tabs that would be the bottom of the box, pinched it closed, punched a few holes at the top, and tied it closed with some Pool Party ribbon. I am sure if you give it a try, you will be just as in love with this little bag as I am. OK, I am off... Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

Hi Everyone! I have been SUPER busy since my last post. My Mom is in the final days of getting ready to make her move into a brand new town, and home, so there has been alot of little fires to put out, and get done. :) I did however decide to take a short break from the moving Chaos, and share another card that my club gals did last weekend. It is actually a CASE of a Super sweet card made by Debbie Currier. I loved her colors, and wanted to make a gender neutral valentine. Her card fit the bill perfectly. Here is my version -

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having great weekend..:) I have been busy most of the day trying to play catch up, and cut some paper for my club girls coming by tomorrow. I am finally done, so I decided to sit down and share another sample with you. :) I have a 3D project for you today.. Can you guess what it could be by the title of this post?? Something to do with sewing maybe?? hmm... Let's see if you are right -

Wow..! You guys are so Bright!! Now I must tell you, this little creation is not of my own invention, I found this sweet basket on Pintrest, and recreated it using Stampin' Up! products. :) Here is picture of what is actually in the sewing basket -

I created a little button card using the Decorative Label punch, and a card of thread with the Tab punch. I had some small wooden spools that I recycled and added some Pear Pizazz and Rose Red Seam binding to them,... and a pin cushion -

using an old glitter container. I cut a circle of fabric about an inch larger then the lid of the container. I sewed a basting stitch around the edge of the circle, then stuffed the circle with batting. Once it was as full as I liked, I pulled the thread tight so it would close the circle, making it look like a little pillow. I then hot glued the "pillow" to the top of my lid. I added some Pear Pizazz twill ribbon to hide the glue line and finish the lid, adding the pink 1/8 taffeta ribbon and the button for detail. I LOVE this little pin cushion container because it is so functional. My pins and cushion are always together now. :) Thanks "Sew much" for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

An Elegant Birthday for a friend

Good Morning Everyone! I have another Leadership project to share with you today. :) It is actually a 3D project and a card. I said in yesterdays post that the Elementary Elegance SAB set was probably the set I was most comfortable working with for the display boards. I really like the shabby, vintage images. They really appeal to me in this set. I don't consider myself to be a girly girl, but this set really brought that side out of me....:) OK onto the projects -

Lots going on here right? But it's all good... I had a lot of fun making this one. Here are some closer views of the tag and the front -

I added some music notes, using the music notes wheel, found in the main catalog to both the tag and the medallion I created on the front of the box. I inked up the wheel with Crumb Cake ink, then stamped off twice to give the really subtle effect. :)

On the card I used all of the same elements as the box -

An Elegant Hello

Good Morning! We made it... The Weekend! It has been a long week, and I have been anxious to share some more Sale-a-bration samples with you. You see I have had these samples for quite some time but was unable to share, considering all these projects that I will be sharing with you in the days to come were made for the display boards at the SU Leadership Conference. We (2011 Artisan Winners) were sworn to secrecy. It was a HARD job keeping that secret too! :) Anyhoo, lets get to some stamping goodness right! Here is my sample for you today -

I used the Sale-a-bration Set Elementary Elegance for this card. I stamped the frame image in craft white, embossed it with white EP, and gently sponged Crumb Cake ink over the embossed image to make it stand out considering I embossed White onto Very Vanilla. I think out of all the sets I had to work with, this set was the one I was most comfortable with. You will have to stop back by to see the rest of my Stamping Goodness.. Hi Everyone!! It's Tuesday, so that means a color challenge for me today! I can't really explain why I feel the NEED to play along in the Color Challenge almost every week over on Splitcoast, but for some reason I don't feel complete if I don't play along. :)

OK, onto this weeks colors... Blushing Bride, Red Riding hood, and Baja Breeze. These colors are from/ used in a new DSP pack found in the new Occasions mini catalog, called Twitterpated. The papers sure do make my heart flutter... :) Here is my card for today -

I opted to make a Valentine's card, considering the colors, and that the holiday is just around the corner. There is no stamping on this card either. Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! I know you are thinking to yourself,..."She's awfully chipper this morning?" Yup!!!! The kiddos are officially off of winter break!! Back to school!! Whoop! My couch, and TV and are just as excited too!! :)

I have a different kind of post for you today... Well it's out of the ordinary for me anyway. It's about FOOD! Let me start at the beginning...It all began with Pintrest... I can hear the sighs and see those understanding head nods from all of you out there that have stories to share with the same beginning. I know,.. doesn't it feel like we are doing something wrong. Spying ALL that crafty, DIY, foodie, sewing, ..and the list goes on.. GOODNESS!! There, I said it I am a PINNER! :)

A wonderful woman, ( I won't mention any names Brandi Wiggins-Cote' aka the Squareheaded Stamper) who not only has an amazing blog, has a monthly Pintrest challenge on her blog. She has invited all of us that share the "Pintrest lurve", to make something that we have pinned from the site. Here is my first entry into her monthly challenge, Sunday Sticky Buns -

Thoughts of you

Hello! I can hear the crickets chirping.... it's been so quiet here! :) Sorry 'bout that. The Holidays are finally over, but the kiddos are still here, AND don't go back to school for another week! WHAT!? But that's not all... to top it off I am officially out of chocolate! Oh the horror! :)

I have been trying to get downstairs for days, and I finally said that's it... I am going to play! I played along in the split coast color challenge this week. Hi Everyone! I have a Birthday card to share today! It is my baby boy Ian's 10th birthday... I can hear him saying... "MOM! I'm not a baby any more...", I know he's not, but he still my baby! :) I sat down and actually made him a card with some new goodies, and a little bit of contraband too! You know me... Hi Everyone! Yep!...it's me... I have been a busy little bee like most of you out there these past couple of weeks, But I am finally done! That feeling of getting to the bottom of the list was an incredible one to say the least.! :) So today, is a ME day! I hope you all remember to take the time for yourselves too! So it being a "me" day, I decided to play along in my favorite Splitcoast challenge....Yep... the color challenge. Today's hostess gave us some really easy peasy colors to work with, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Always Artichoke. The dessert option was to use a button, and put it on top of a bow. Hello! Are any of you still there?? I want to start out this post with a much needed apology from me to you regarding my extended absence from the blogosphere. My life has been a little hectic lately, and to shed even a little more light, I have not been myself physically for even longer. Things are getting better, So.....please accept my sincere apology, and I will try my best to get to sharing some more stamping and crafty goodness with you real soon. :)

I DO have a project to share with you today. This month Stampin' Up! put a request in with all of this years Artisan Award winners, to come up with a Holiday project to showcase on the Stampin' Up! Face book page. Of course we all said YES! I decided to make a Countdown Calendar using the 25 & Counting set found in the Holiday mini catalog -

I used one of the Clear Stamp (DVD) storage cases. Here is a pic of the inside -

Using the Petal Card Punch I created little envelopes to store the little tags that I made to change out as the days count down. On the front I did the same. I created an envelope with some window sheet and the Petal card Punch. The Envelopes on the inside of the case are attached with a glue dot, and are stamped with the corresponding stamp so you can easily find the next day, and store nicely for years of use. I have mine propped up on an easel on my desk. I think it turned out Super cute! Don't you!! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. :)

The Mystery house

Hello Everyone..... Where have I been the last week?? Well I have a good explanation really... I and my youngest have been working very hard on a school book report project called the Mystery house. I absolutely LOVE when teachers send home projects for kids, that are really never going to be completed without some kind of Mom intervention. Let's just say he knew about the book report for a month, and then decided to let me know that there was a "project" that needed to go with the writing assignment last Tuesday. (what's the saying?... Hi Everyone! I am really keeping to my promise to you all, and getting to share some cards that I have created recently. I mentioned yesterday that I had a little down time, while nursing a bad head cold, and tried to catch up on some blog surfing, and some publications that have been sitting on the end of my desk for awhile. I had earmarked some layouts, and some HAVE to make cards, and that is what I am sharing with you today. I recently spied an ever so cute card by Debbie Olson in a Holiday cards publication, and wanted to recreate it with SU products. Here is my card -

So what do ya think?? I used the wreath image from the hostess set Warmest of Wishes found in the 2011-2012 Holiday mini catalog. I stamped my image in Lucky Limeade, and added some 1/8" circles of red glitter paper found in the same catalog, to look like holly berries. I created the sentiment using my Big Shot, and 3 different alphabets, the Serif Essential, Simple, and Billboard. I really like the outcome, and plan on making some more. Hi Everyone! Seems this has become a Tuesday blog. I certainly don't mean for it to be, so I will endeavor to fix that this week, OK. I promise...and I do not have my fingers crossed! :) Well, it is Tuesday, so that means that there is another Color Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers. I have so enjoyed playing along in these challenges this month, and of course being a guest designer for the challenges too! What a great bunch of talented ladies to work along side each week. All of them are just amazing!

This week or hostess Mary, gave us some really wonderful colors to work with. Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, and Baja Breeze. I rarely use Rich Razzleberry, if at all, and I have never used Island Indigo..but now that I have, I will for sure be using it more. What a stunning blue. :) OK enough yada right... Here is my card for this weeks challenge -

Our Dessert option for this week was to use dry embossing. I used one of the new smaller embossing folders from the main catalog that comes in a set of 2 frames called Designer frames. I dry embossed a piece of Early Espresso, then cut out the frame. I then stamped my bird image from the set Easy events, colored it with Island Indigo, and Baja Breeze, then trimmed it so it would fit inside the embossed frame. Hi Everyone! Sorry...it seems I have been away for a little while again. It has been one of those kind of weeks around here...Lots of little things started, but nothing done. :( But it has worked itself out, and just in the nick of time to, considering there is a Splitcoaststampers Color challenge today. WHOOP! Today's hostess gave us some pretty challenging colors to work with...Well, challenging to me anyway.... The colors are Lucky Limeade, Regal Rose, and Blushing Bride. Sounds pretty easy right!? Oh, and the dessert option is to use gold embossing..OK, with some trial and error, here is my card -

I guess I took the bride "thing" a little to literally. :) I made my "dress" using the Top Note die for the big shot, and a piece of Vellum dry embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper EF. I really struggled with the gold embossing, so I added a little to the rose tips for the dessert option. Hi Everyone! I took some time off this past week, to do some stuff around the house, and go camping with my boys this past weekend to Indiana Dunes State Park. It was a Boy Scout camping trip, and I really had a great time. I didn't have to do ANYTHING. No cooking, no clean up, just me and the awesome weather, and a good book... AHHH! So that is where I have been, I hope you didn't miss me to much. :)

In my last post, I mentioned that I had been asked to be a guest designer for the color challenges over on Splitcoaststampers. Well it is Tuesday, so that means I have another challenge card to share. :) This weeks hostess gave us some really fun colors to work with...Elegant Eggplant, Tempting Turquoise, and Pumpkin Pie. The dessert option was to make a Halloween card. Sounds fun right? OK here is my card for the challenge -

So didn't I say they were FUN?!

I made the witches feet using the Top Note Die for the Big shot. I used the smaller end, cut off to where I wanted, then scored down the center to the point on the "heel". I used a 1/2" circle punch for the holes where her legs are, and a 1" punch to form the top of her shoe. I punched half of a circle starting at the point of her shoe. Then I saved the punched portion and used that as a guide to punch the other side/shoe. The scallop on the bottom of her dress was made with a large corner rounder punch. I just removed the guard to and lined the edge of the paper up with the metal on the under side of the punch. Her Broom is made from a rolled scrap of black paper, held together with sticky strip, and a strip of Elegant Eggplant DSP cut in strips on both sides, and tied with some Elegant eggplant Grosgrain Ribbon. Hi Everyone! I have a quick post for you and a little secret to share. I have been asked to be a guest designer for the color challenges over on Splitcoaststampers for the month of October. So every Tuesday I will be playing along in the Challenge! It is my most favorite challenge on Splitcoast! Coming in a close second would be the Sketch challenge. They are both so much fun! I love when there is a color combo that really makes me think a little...and this week's colors were no exception. Our hostess for this week gave us Tangerine Tango, More Mustard, and Soft Suede to work with, and letting us add a neutral of either White or Vanilla. Every week there is also a desert option, and this week was to make a Thanksgiving card, or a thank you card. I chose a thank you sample...

To make my Owl I used my XL Oval punch. I punched out the oval to form his body, and then re-inserted the end back into the punch, to form the top of his head. The feathers on his chest are actually the positive pieces left over from using the scallop trim border punch. His wings were made the same as his body, by just re-inserting a punched XL oval of Soft Suede back into the punch, on the long sides. I clear embossed a scrap of soft suede and then punched his eyes (centers) using the cropadile. The sentiment is from the set Just Believe, and I created the "whoo" using the Billboard alphabet for the Bigshot. Super Cute! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

Hi Everyone! As promised I am back today with a quick post, and a little SU goodness. :) I am getting a head start on my October workshop cards, and I think the sample I have to share today, is going to be one of them. I used a set from the main catalog that I have had for many years, but rarely use. I tend to forget these sets, but this year I am determined to show them a lot more love. :) OK, so on to the card -

The Sketch I used is from the PaperCrafts magazine Go to Sketches. I stamped my leaves in More Mustard, Cajun Craze, and Early Espresso. Then punched them out with my 1" circle punch. I arranged them to look as if the leaves were falling, and then attached the punched circles onto a panel of Soft Suede stock stamped with Woodgrain. I added a scrap of Cajun Craze punched with the scallop border punch for detail, then finished it off with the Scrumptious Early Espresso Quilted ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog, and a sentiment. For the Bride and Groom

Hi Everyone! I want to let all of you know right off the bat that the sample I am sharing with you today, does not, I repeat, does not contain all SU images. I am a die hard SU fan, but sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do, and I felt inspired by an old stamp (circa 2007) that found it's way into my stash by happenstance. REALLY!! :)

My husband and I are invited to a 50th Anniversary luncheon this upcoming weekend, and I need to make an Anniversary card, and I wanted to keep it simple, but stated. So here is my card made with contraband -

All I can say is that you can find this image at your LSS. I stamped the image in black Stazon on Naturals White, and water colored the image with reinkers ad an Aqua painter. Once I was done coloring the image, I went over the brides dress, veil, and the grooms shirt with a some Encore Gold ink. I think you can see a little of the sparkle. Here is another picture to get a better look -

While the paper was still wet from coloring, I traced the inside of the outline of the brides dress using a stylus, then flipped the image over, and burnished the inside of the traced lines to stretch the paper a little, and give the dress a little form. This technique is also known as Pergamano. I added a little gold framing to the embossed panel, by dragging the edges of the paper over the Gold Encore ink pad. I like the way it turned out, and I am sure the happy couple will like it too. Thank you for hanging in there with me all the way to the end of this post using contraband. Hi Everyone! I have a quick card to show you today. I played along in the color challenge today on Split coast, and was really inspired by the colors for this week. The colors for this weeks challenge are Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, and Pool Party. I said the same thing....Pool Party? Such a "cool" color with such deep tones?? Well guess what? Hello Everyone! According to the calendar, today is the first official day of Fall. WHOOP! My absolute favorite season! I love the colors, smells, and most of all those wonderfully sunny, crisp days that beg you to take a long walk, and absorb it all with each step. Turning your face upward to the sunshine, and feeling all the worries, and little things just melt away....Happy Times in the Sunshine! My card sample for you today is my way of welcoming in the Season -

I used the set called Pursuit of Happiness. Very fitting if I do say so myself. This card also fits the Ways to Use it challenge on SplitCoaststampers. We were to use a brown paper bag on our project. I punched some circles out of a lunch bag, and made my little flowers. A New Favorite

Hello Everyone! What a weekend....Did yours fly by in a blink of an eye too?? I had grand plans of getting to some VERY needed yard work, but the weather was not in my favor, so I got busy inside with a toy room that also needed ALOT of attention. All the Lego's are in their proper places instead of in the laundry baskets, and under beds. :) I swear they multiply when the lights go out at night. ( Maybe I need to invest in some of those night vision goggles, and surprise them yelling "Yup the jig is up!!" )

So when all the work was left to two little boys, I took a break, and got a little stamping time! YEA!! I had yet to clean up my desk from the last 2 cards I made, so there were scraps on my desk, and I put them to use. Here is my card, using what I think might become a new favorite color of mine -

Can you believe I even said that!? Calypso Coral a Favorite? Well......I 'll give it a few more chances, and then I will give you a definite answer. :) For my border on the side I used the decorative label punch combined with a stamp from the coordinating stamp set called Four Frames. I punched out the Frame and attached it to a label punched from Soft Suede. I just offset it a little to create a frame. The flower was made with the Fancy flower punch, and the floral fusion sizzix die. I distressed the flowers with Soft Suede ink and water, then crumpled them to distress them a little more. I formed the flower center using basic pearls. I think the flower and frame I used paired nicely with the leaves from the set French Foliage, and the sentiment from Falling Leaves. Hi Everyone! I have another quick post for you today, I am off to my Mom's to help her start to get ready for a big move from her home in Chicago. She has lived in this house for close to 40 years, and has a lot of stuff/boxes to sort thru before she moves her stuff and such closer to me and my Sister! Yay!! So that is my plan for today. This week is also my Beautiful Step-daughter's 16th birthday. Boy time sure has flew by... With that said I needed a Sweet 16 card. I looked at my stamps, and found that I had never once used the set Birthday Bakery from the last catalog. (how I managed not to ever ink it up, is still a little baffling to me!). I checked out Split coast for a little inspiration, and found an adorable card made by leighastamps which is actually a CASE from Di Gibbs. So Anyhoo, here is my version -

I just changed up the papers, and the colors slightly.(her card was perfect, so why mess with it!") I used my billboard alphabet for the "Sweet", and went over them with some crystal Effects for a little bit of depth. I used my SU markers to color the images, and added a little bit of crystal effects to the cherries on top. I think it turned out super CUTE! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Hello Everyone! I have a quick post for you today. I had a chance to play yesterday for a little while, and really wanted to ink up a new set from the main catalog, called Established Elegance. I have spied SO many amazing cards made with this set, I really wanted to join in the fun. Here is my card -

I also used the new color Calypso Coral. I would lying to you, if I said that I REALLY liked this color when I first received it back in July. It was one of those colors that I shielded my eyes from, but pairing it with the neutrals, it really isn't Glaring to me anymore. :) I made my own DSP using the set Friends Never Fade. Hi Everyone! I have a quick post for you today... As you know from yesterdays post, I have been on the look out for my Mojo.. I did catch a glimpse of it yesterday, and I thought it wise to continue on my search, and get a little creative, to help the juices flow a little more. When I am in a rut, I usually like to page through publications, and get inspired that way. Well Yesterday was no exception. I found this Uber fantastic card in a publication, and HAD to recreate it, but with adding my little touches here and there. This card also happens to fit the Free for All Friday challenge over on Split Coast, and I LOVE when that happens! :) Here is my card -

Isn't it "Sub-lime?!" (he-he) For the Body of the sub, I used the center of the Scallop Oval Frame for the Bigshot. I paper pierced around the oval to make it look like little rivets, and constructed my periscope using a 1/2" circle punch cut in half, and scraps left on my cutting table. The sentiment is from that old and trusty Loads of love Accessories. I just stamped it and cut it up to break up all the white. I think it turned out "sea"riffic! The Badlands, a Sketch and a big wish

Hi Everyone! I have had some trouble getting going, and down here lately. My Mojo is missing, and I have looked everywhere! REALLY! Under all the beds, behind doors, even in the garage..(otherwise known as the Badlands) to find that elusive thing that chooses to take flight when IT wants to! But I think I saw it peek out from behind a box to let me catch a glimpse of it this morning! :) I checked out the sketch challenge on Split coast this morning, and felt inspired. Here is the card -

I used a new set to me called Established Elegance. I fell in love with this image in particular when I spied it in the new Catalog back in July. I also used a stamp from Bring on the Cake for my sentiment, and Just add cake DSP. Hi Everyone! I want to sincerely apologize for my extended absence from the blogging world. I have had a REALLY busy couple of weeks...You know wrapping up the Summer before the kiddos headed back to school, and taking care of some other things that really needed to get done around the ol' homestead, including going thru and thoroughly cleaning my stamping space. Maybe I'll take a few pics of my "dungeon" and share. :)

OK, onto some fun stuff! It has come down to the last few days to order from the Summer mini catalog. Yeah...remember that one! Well here is a card that might help you remember -

It uses the set Travel Log, found in the Summer mini. I really like this set, I guess that's the reason I waited until the very last to use it. As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I will be sharing some of Olivia's favorite things here at home. One of her favorite things to do, is join me in my stamp room, and keep me company. She even has her own little rocker to sit in -

I spied this little rocker at a thrift store, and knew it would be perfect for my Bear. I spray painted it white, and made a cushion for the seat using the Sweet stitches Designer Fabric, and added Tangerine Tango Pom-Pom trim finish the look. I am going to have to keep my eyes open for another to replace the one I submitted. I know I will!

Sometimes Olivia like any other girl, feels like she needs to change things up a little for the sake of fashion. So she changes her dress and her ribbon in her hair -

The second dress is also made with the Springtime Designer Fabric. I added a little bit of crochet trim down the center of the jumper, and added a few Razzleberry buttons for detail. Here is the outside of the Suitcase that I keep her change of clothes in -

I didn't think to take a picture of it closed before I sent it off to SU. But it's all good! I got the idea for her to have a Suitcase, considering she would be traveling to SLC. :) The Suitcase was made without a template. I basically folded her outfit and measured it, then created the box around it. The Suitcase is really just a gussied up pizza box. I cut a piece of Crumb cake card stock, ran it thru my Big Shot using the Square Lattice EF, distressing it a little with Soft Suede ink, and applied it to the front of the Case. I made some straps out of Textured Soft Suede card stock, applied those with sticky strip, and added some brads for detail. The handle is a medium sized oval punched from Crumb Cake, with slits made at the ends to slide another strip of Soft Suede stock through to create a handle.

As if you didn't notice, I held off showing you my 3D projects until now. There is a logical reason for it, really cause', they all go together. :) Please meet Olivia -

She is my Build a Bear, dressed to go on a play date in her new Springtime Vintage Jumper that her Mom made for her. Isn't she the Cutest!! Let me show you another picture of her workin' the camera -

I need to share a little story as to how I picked her name. As you may know I live with all boys. 4 to be exact. Olivia is my little girl. She is precious, and soft and has a giving heart. A perfect teddy bear. You also know that my last name is Klump. That would mean that her initials are O.K. If something happens and someone needs a hug, she makes it all "OK".

As I mentioned above her Jumper is made using the Springtime Vintage Designer Fabic. I found a doll clothes pattern for a jumper and made some adjustments to fit a bear. The pockets of the jumper are made with the Sweet Stitches Designer Fabric. I added some of the Tangerine Tango Pom-pom trim to the edge of the pockets for a fun detail, and used the Fabric Brads of the same design on the jumper shoulders. She also has a little seam binding bow pinned to one ear.

That is my 3D for today, and tomorrow I will show you all of the things that Olivia uses here at home.

Hi Everyone! I have had some time to myself, so I thought what not a better time than to play with some new goodies from my favorite man in brown! Nothing like some new goodies and tools to make me stamp happy! I got my preorder of products from the upcoming Holiday mini catalog. There are SO many CUTE and must have's in this upcoming catalog! I haven't been this excited about a mini catalog in a LONG time! Ok. Let me give you a little sneaky peek at some of the fun stuff available starting Sept. 1st -

Aren't those little stockings CUTE! I made them using a punch that is in the new mini! I ran a piece of Vanilla card stock thru the big shot using my Square lattice embossing folder. Added the stocking details with a new coordinating stamp set called Stitched Stockings, Oh and those mini Jingle Bells! . HEAVEN!!! My sentiment is from a set called Grateful greetings, and can be found in the main catalog! I actually think this card could be used for a holiday card, or even a new baby, when made in these colors. Hi Again! We are officially on day 7 of the -

Can you believe it? So many projects have been shared, and still a few days to go. Whoop! Who needs sleep! (pshaw!!) :)

I am just on my way back here from Heidi King's blog. I love her style. I really think that is something that stands out about all the AA winners this year. We all have a different style. So as I mentioned before, for those that are going to enter this next year, GO FOR IT! I don't think that there is a certain formula or style of cards that Stampin' Up! is looking for. So give it your best!

I have a card entry to share with you today. This card was actually one that I created to share with my club girls. I really didn't use this set much while it was active, and I can't really figure out why? It was one of those must haves for me. Probably because it was about Puns. Totally up my Alley! OK.. onto the card -

I stamped my image and sentiment separate from each other. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the sentiment vertically on a scrap, then cut a slit in the top of my typewriter image and inserted the sentiment to make it look like to was coming from in between the rollers. I cut out my cork sheet out using the scallop rectangle clearlit. I punched a few hearts out, used a scrap of Newsprint DSP, added 1 3/4" dry embossed black circle then tied it all together with some Poppy parade poly twill ribbon.

A really quick and straight forward card.

Welcome to day 6 of the AA hop everyone!

If you are coming here from Heidi King's blog, you are in the right place! Today I have another Scrap page to share -

If you have ever been here before, you would know that, these are my boys. No matter how much they can be "boys", I can not even imagine one day with out them in my life, or remember what my life was like with out them. They truly make me happy! Hence the title of the page.

I have used this layout before, and really like it for a single picture. It lends itself to easy and clean.

The papers I used are the retired School days DSP. Bright and cheery, and went well with picture.

The journaling was created with my MDS. For my title I used two different alphabets, Timeless type Junior alphabet, and the billboard alphabet. The other embellishments are pretty much interchangeable with what picture you decide to use. :)

Hello! Are you still there? I know you are....who could not enjoy all the awe inspiring projects on the

you have to admit, you are saying to yourself, I can do that! And you're right! You can! I would encourage any demonstrator to enter. It is a real challenge to push yourself out of your comfort zone and do your best. I personally set a goal that I would give it my all this year, and I accomplished that goal! (Patsy if your out there I'm talking to you!) What a great feeling! :)

Today I am sharing the card that matches my sisters Scrap page -

As I said before, I really loved making that scrap page, and I wasn't ready to put the papers away yet. I looked around at the pieces left over from the pages, and there was enough to make a wedding card too! I kept the elements of the scrap page the card the same, as well as the layout. In my own humble opinion, I think this is one of the prettiest cards I have ever made. I just love how elegant it is, and how it all came together. :) (OK, some one needs to tell me to put a sock in it! HA!)

Hi Again Everyone! We are into day 4 of the -

Did ya ever think you would get a post from me everyday? I sure didn't think so! So maybe this hopping is a good thing?

I do hope you are all enjoying seeing all the winning projects up close. So much work goes into the projects. I lot of dedication to the craft I tell ya! Well done Ladies! :)

I have to admit, you may have seen this card on here before. I simply changed up the colors a little on this one. I love this little punch art owl. Is it a sitting in a nest? Or is it sitting on a branch with ruffled feathers?

You decide? I made my branch using an SU shipping box. I peeled off the top layer of paper to expose the corrugated center. Then cut a branch freehand in the shape I needed. The Polka dot leaves were made using my med. oval punch. I punched out one then reinserted the punched piece back into the punch to form the leaf. I did the same thing to make my Owl, I just kept the larger piece. Isn't he Cute?

I really like this little guy, and hope to recreate him sometime soon. :)

Hi Again Everyone! We are officially on Day 3 of the -

This blog hop has really got me excited! Honest! I love seeing all the projects up close, and how the creator wants us to see it. It is really a lot different than standing behind a rope at the display board and leaning WAY over to catch the detail and stuff! :)

As in the previous days, you should be landing here from Heidi King's blog. So if not, be sure to check out her ~~amazing~~ (that should have been in all caps really!) AMAZING entries!

Today I am sharing a scrap page with you. I Loved making this page SO much I actually made 2, and a card to match!

This is a photograph of my sister on her wedding day. She was Stunning! That day was truly perfect for her and her Hubby Tim. It was SO perfect, that I actually ran out and got my own hubby named Tim and got married exactly one month later! Well, it didn't happen quite like that, but we ARE both married to guys named Tim. What were the odds of that?!

I had mentioned to her around Christmas that I would be entering the AA contest, and that I wanted to use a picture of her to let her know that I would need her to sign a release. I finished the page about a month later, showed her, and needless to say did not leave with it. So this is actually a duplicate page. I had to get more Love Letter DSP to complete it. :)

There are lots of details on this page. Too many to count really. But I do want to show you one that may be new to some -

I used our basic pearls for the flower centers, but colored them with a black Sharpie before attaching them. Cool huh? Yup, you can have different colored pearls. If you have a rainbow of Sharpie markers, you can have pearls in every color. Just let them dry, and you are good to go! :)

I have another one of my card entries for you today. The contest rules required us to make 5 cards, so I have a lot of those to show. :) Here goes -

I ALWAYS have trouble making boy cards. Considering I live with 4 boys, you would think it would come second nature. Nope! So when I sat down to make a few tween boy birthday cards, I came up with this. It is really a very versatile card! It could be given for a birthday, good grades, graduation, etc. So needless to say I have about a dozen of these stashed away for those special men in my life. (honestly, I should just recycle the front and re gift it to the next, for as closely as they look at the outside of the card! HA!) That's my story and I'm stickin' with it! :)

Hi Everyone! I want to welcome all of you to the 2011 Artisan Award Winners Blog Hop! I still can't believe that I actually won this coveted award, let alone be part of a blog hop of this creative magnitude! SQUEE!!!!! It has been an exciting ride so far, and I can't even imagine what the rest of the year will bring! (Insert happy dance here!!) :)

I created my banners using a now retired set called Party Hearty. The clouds behind the banners were made using the Create a Cupcake punch. I ran a strip of Whisper White card stock thru my Big Shot, using the Perfect polka dot EF, and then punched them out. My multi-colored scallops at the base of my card are 1 3/8" circles cut in half and stamped with Dot, Dot, Dot. This was the first card I created to send in, so I saw it fitting that it should be the first creation I shared on the hop. :)

Hi Everyone! I have another card to share with you that I made when I was up to the wee hours of the morning last week. I REALLY like this set Easy Events. When I saw the set in the new Catty, I added it to my wish list on the spot. Imagine how excited I was to see it in my convention bag! So with out any more delay, here is my card -

I kept it really simple. I colored my image with my SU markers and a versamarker.(Some of the markers are retired colors, but I live by the rule use em' if ya got em'! :) I applied some Crystal Effects to the clock face for some added dimension, then cut it out. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap, cut it out in the shape of a text bubble, and attached it with a dimensional dot. The little white circles below the text bubble, were made with the hole punches on my cropadile. I added some simple score lines to some Whisper white using my Paper cutter, added a bow of Pretty in pink satin ribbon, and Viola! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

A BFF kind of day

Hi Everyone! I have a quick post for you today. I have been busy creating with all the new sets that were given to me in my Convention bag. Besides Easy Events there was the Best Friends Forever set. I have to admit, I really didn't like this set when I first saw it in the catalog. It was one of those sets that I would just glance over, turn the page, and look for something that was more my style. Well after seeing all the amazing cards on the display boards at Convention, I felt a little better about having this set in my stash. Here is what I was inspired to make -

I first stamped the leafy branch images from the set in versa mark onto the crumb cake stock. Next I stamped the flourish in black down the middle of the stock. For the sentiment panel, I stamped the flourish in Versamark, and then the BFF image. I got out my rhinestone bling, added the line underneath the panel, and the created the flourish/crown on over the BFF following the stamped pattern of the flourish. I punched holes on either side of the BFF thread some black satin ribbon through, and the ruffled it a little. I think it turned out great! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. Details below -

Hi Everyone! I was blessed to be able to sit down at my desk yesterday, and create a few cards that I have had in the front of my brain since being away at Convention. My boys had a friend over, and my husband got home early from work, and said he would handle the rest of whatever needed to get done. I actually said "Huh?" Did I hear you right?" He repeated it slowly for me this time, and said, " I got it." With that said, I was hunkered downstairs until dinner, and then again until the wee hours of the morning!! So here is what I was busy creating -

For this card, I used a set that I recieved at Convention called Easy Events. I LOVE this set! The images are SO Sweet, and super fun to color! I colored my tree with various SU markers, and my versarker. To make my clouds, I used my various sized circle punches, and punched them in the form of a cloud. I also used the positive little hearts from the pinking heart border punch to add the detail on my sentiment panel. I am so happy that the idea worked out as well as it did! Super Cute right! One Crazy Cool Convention

Hi Everyone! Yup! you can pick up your jaws off the floor now... I am actually posting! I know I surprised myself too! So where have I been?? I think you all have a good idea where I have been hanging out ... That's right the SU Convention! I can't even put into words the incredible time I had this year in SLC. I met so many new and old friends, that there was never a dull moment! And my Roomies this year were the BOMB! My sides and face hurt so much from laughing and giggling, that I wished it would never end. So here are a few pictures to highlight my trip to Convention this year.

A Sweet little card

Hi Everyone! Where have I been? Nowhere really. Just busy, and on the search for my Mojo. It has been AWOL for awhile, and my desk has the turned into a heap of repercussions. Well I think I found it today amongst the mess, and am happy to share the findings. :) I have a lot of what are going to be discontinued DSP packs in my midst, so I thought I had better use them, to share some last minute goodness with you. As if you didn't know the new IB&C from SU goes live tomorrow at noon. So if there is something you see that you like, you had better get that order in before tonight. :) My card is an inspired one. I found inspiration in an old issue of Card Creations. Here is my card -

For my papers I used some of the Pawsitively prints 2 DSP. I used all of my various Oval punches to make the little pea pod and leaves. To make the larger scallop on the bottom of the plaid panel, I took the guard off my larger corner rounder punch, and lined up the scallop with the edge of my paper, punched one scallop, and then moved the punch over and created the next one. Open Sea friendship

Hi Everyone! Lots going on here today, but I don't think anything is actually getting done. My boys are painting birdhouses, in hopes that a warbler that has been hanging around the backyard, might find a new home in one of them, and LOTS of other busy MOM work. So I took a break, and played with the SU set, The Open Sea. It is an awesome masculine set, and I can see some travel type scrapbook pages with it too, but I wanted to stretch my creativity a little further with it. So I came up with this card -

So What do ya think? Not just a masculine set right? I paper pieced my sails from the Pawsitively Prints 2 DSP, and made my waves using my 3/4 and 1/2" circle punches. Hi Everyone! I have a really super quick post for you today. I was going over the Last chance list again, (sniff) and TOTALLY over looked that Cheep Talk was on the list. I was like...Huh? I just got this set, and barely used it. OK, no more sniff-sniff. now it's a full blown Whah!! I think this set is Super Cute! and now it's on it's way out...So what better reason to make a quick card with it today. Here is my card -

ETA* Hi all... I have had a few inquiries as to how I made my clouds. I ran a piece of whisper white stock thru the Big Shot using the Square lattice EF, and then freehand cut the clouds. Try it out! You know you can, we all did it grammar school. If you feel challenged by it, you can draw some on the stock, and then cut out and then run thru the big shot. I hope that helps. :)

I received a box of goodness from Mr. Brown last week, and I finally got around to opening it up. :) I bet you can guess what was inside? You got it! New schtuff from the new SU IB&C. Hi All! I have a quick post for you this late Sunday evening. I had club this afternoon, and am still downstairs cleaning up the chaos, so why not post one of the cards we did! *wink* We had to make a Father's Day card, considering it is next weekend. Hi Everyone.... I finally made it downstairs today. The summer is already proving to be too busy. Well, this month anyway with grad parties on the weekends, and trucking kids to and fro everyday. Did we ever do this much when we were kids?? If my memory serves me correctly, no! But when WE were kids, we were too busy walking to and fro, uphill and into a driving rain, to all the places we needed to be. (hee-hee!) Anyhoo, back to the reason for this post. A few months ago, I posted that I was too busy again, because I was working on my submissions for this years SU Artisan award Contest. If you are unfamiliar with the contest, the Artisan Award is designed to recognize ten of Stampin' Up!s most creative and talented demonstrators. This year I was chosen for the award! After many years of entering the contest, I finally got the call! I have been, and still am, over the moon with this accomplishment, as I am sure that all the other recipients are too! Congrats to ALL!

Hello again everyone! I have another quick post for you today. I want to share a card that I have made for my boys to give one of our Schools second grade teachers son. His name is Capt. Tom Buller. He was seriously injured in a road side bombing in Afghanistan this past week. My boys met him at school, at our annual Veterans Day Assembly. He is a West Point grad, and the commander of a special Tactical unit while serving in Afghanistan. He is truly loved by the kids, and has showed them what true heroism is. My boys asked if I could make him a card to send to let him know we are thinking of him..

I used a combination of sets that are all very close to my heart, and I am SURE I will never part with. On the inside I had one of my boys write the sentiment, "hoping for a speedy recovery". Perfect! don't ya think? The row houses are from a jumbo wheel called Neighborhood, which will be retired from the catalog this July..(Sniff-Sniff)...This wheel has seen alot of love over the years by me, so if you have had it earmarked, now is the time to get it. Hi Everyone! I am not even going to Ask if you missed me while I was MIA for the past couple of weeks, cause I sure did miss you! Really!!! I have been way to busy with life in general to get downstairs, and do any crafting. I did get a project done for the next release of the PCS sampler coming June 10th, and that was all... (Sniff-Sniff). All I can say it's all good, and take it one day at a time. :) As long as we are the subject of the the next PCS sampler... this months theme is all about BABIES!!!!!!

Hi everyone! I have been SO busy this week. Please forgive me for leaving you all in the lurch once again...:) The school year is winding down, so why is it that schools ramp it up in the month of May? My boys have had something at school every single day this week, and something every single day after school this past week. Just 2 short weeks left of school, and then the real FUN begins! Something old and Something new

Hi Everyone! I am hoping that you all had a restful weekend! :) I had a very quiet weekend here, and I am still reveling in it. The weather here was cold and wet, so I couldn't do much outside, but it made for some great stamping and scrapping inside.. Whoop! Whoop! (I know... I sound a little too excited to be inside getting busy at my desk with some paper and ink...NA!) *wink* So with that said, I had a very productive weekend. And that ALWAYS feel good. I got some more Grad cards done, a few scrap pages, and a wedding card. Now you know where I was going with the title of this post. Here is my card -

Yes, I used Fabulous Florets again! There is a reason that it IS called Fabulous Florets, because it is FABULOUS! It seems to be my go to set these days, and if I can use it for so many cards, it is definitely worth purchasing. On this card I went back to the basics, paper and ink. I stamped the solid flower in Whisper White craft ink, and then the outline flower image, in Whisper White craft re-inker mixed with a tiny drop of Poppy Parade re-inker. I mixed my re-inkers in a recycled button container top, then using a sponge dauber, inked up my image. You don't need alot, just a tiny drop of each color, it is craft ink, and a little goes a long way. :) The sentiment is my something old, it is from last Sale-a-bration, and is from a set called Well Scripted. Dad's Day Moustache

Hi Everyone! I have been having a quiet weekend so far here. I almost want to cross all my fingers and toes so I don't Jinx it. This quiet time has afforded me a little time to catch up on some scrapping, and some cards. I figure I should do some scrapping this month, considering it is National Scrap booking month. I will share some of the pages with you soon. Just need to get some good light to take a decent picture. :) Any hoo, I have a card to share with you today. Inspiration for this card came from Erin Lincoln and Card Creations. Her card was just so cute, I couldn't pass up re-creating it. Here is my version -

I kept the colors and LO the same, just changed up the alphabet with one that I have. Her sample used a moustache sticker, but I created mine using the SU Curly label punch as a template. I punched out one label from Basic Gray paper, and using the rounded corner as the beginning of the moustache, I cut the corners into a paisley shape to form my two pieces. So what do ya think? A Sweet Color Challenge

Hi Everyone! It's Tuesday, and that means I played in another Splitcoast Color Challenge. If you haven't noticed as of yet, which would be very hard not too, I always try to play along in this challenge. It stretches my creativity to work with colors that may be outside my comfort zone. Sometimes we need that little extra push to change it up. :) Today's challenge colors were So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Blushing Bride. Soft and Feminine. Here is my card for today -

I kept it really simple today. I used the cherry image from Tart & Tangy, and sentiments from Fabulous Phrases. I punched some circles with my itty bitty shapes circle punch, layered them with the Blushing Bride DSP, and then threaded them with white Butchers Twine. I used my small oval punch to add the little leaf to the cherry stem, and paper pierced around my 2 3/8 scallop circle. Super SWEET! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

Good Morning! I took advantage yesterday afternoon when the kiddos got home from school, to hunker down and finish my Mother's day card dilemma. I had everything out on my desk, so why not. I am still at it with Fabulous Florets from the new SU Summer mini catalog, so bear with me... I promise you will not be disappointed. Here is the card I am sharing today -

I had mentioned in a previous post, that the papers in the Mini catty are what made my heart all a flutter. I {heart} this Pacific Pint blue one. Can you see me batting my eyelashes at you, you handsome blue paper you! *wink* I stamped my poppies in Stazon on watercolor paper and colored them with my Pacific Point re-inker. On the Pear Pizazz panel, I stamped the larger poppy image in Versamark, then the smaller poppy in Pear Pizazz. The Butterfly embosslit is a new goodie to me, and I love it!! Thanks Melanie! On a side, I was checking out the new SUO challenge on the SUO challenge blog, and the new challenge for the month of May is to make a card with a butterfly! So this card qualifies! A Sketch for Mom

Hi Everyone! Sorry for such a late post today. I had a little trouble getting motivated to do ANYTHING today. The weather is rainy and dreary here, so the only real motivation here today was to plant my rear on the couch with a warm cup of something...:) The sun finally came out and kicked my rear in gear, so I could get r' done, and finally get downstairs to play today. Hi Everyone! I have been busy creating with some of the new goodies from the Summer mini again! Nothing like getting some new stuff to get a new perspective on things. :) I thought a little outside the box for this card. I paired it with the sentiment from the set Just Believe. I think the pairing can be an encouragement card. Here is me card -

I started my card by stamping the compass image on a whisper white panel in Chocolate Chip classic ink. I lined up my paper with my Grid paper, and drew grid lines, with my Sahara Sand marker, spacing them 1/2 apart. I colored my compass with Real Red and Marina Mist, and a blender pen. I outlined the compass with my Versamarker. Then drew my hash marks, and stamped the globe randomly in Chocolate Chip. I think it turned out Great! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Hi all & Happy Wednesday! I have another card for you today using another new set from the upcoming SU Summer mini catalog. This set is called Fabulous Florets. When I spied this set, I have to admit it was the papers that coordinate with it that I swooned over. So if all us crafters think alike, and I know we do, HOW could I possibly JUST get the papers and not the set??? I mean for Pete's sake c'mon! *wink* So for your viewing pleasure, you get to see both in action today -

The card LO is from last weeks Sketch challenge on Splitcoast. Here is the Sketch-

I flipped the sketch, and changed the sizes of the panels to fit my needs. Oh.. there is another new goodie used too, the Flower Garden EF. ( I know, I know... you should see the twist marks on my arms from all the "must have it" pressure! he-he) I stamped the Poppies in versamark on watercolor paper, embossed with black EP, then water colored them with Tangerine Tango. To get the deeper tone on the petals, I used my Cajun Craze marker, and then went over the just colored area with my aqua painter. The Sentiment is from a SU hostess set called Occasional Quotes.

I am going to send this as a Mother's day card, so this card also fits the SUO challenge card for this week. (Whoop! Whoop!) Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

Hi Everyone! I have been away for a little while. I needed to take a little mental break, and let my wheels stop spinning. I was beginning to feel a little overwhelmed with things here at home, and my Mojo went AWOL. Sorry if ya missed me, and I hope you understand. Hi!, & Happy Friday all! I have another page for you today. Didn't expect that one right? :) Ok, Ok, ... I will take a break for a few days from the pages, and come back with some cards. ( you can't see me crossing my fingers right?) I got some new goodies from Mr. Brown, so I promise I will share with you! :)

This page was a super quick one. It took about 20 minutes start to finish. I kept the LO super simple, as I didn't want to take away from the picture or the title for that matter. Here is the page -

The circle/geometric image is from the SU hostess set Apple Blossoms. I stamped it in various colors in a row, then took a brand new #2 pencil eraser, inked it up, and stamped inside some of the circles with the same color. The DSP is a retired paper called Spring break from a few years ago. I did a little framing around the inside of the picture, and just around the edge of the page. I added a few staples for detail, and that's it. How can you mess with a kid just being a kid. Simple as that! :) Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Details below -

A Fitting Sketch

Happy Wednesday! I am catching up on stuff today, considering we were gone last week. I am still scrappin' away, so stay tuned for some more pages. K? I felt a little deprived from my stamping while I was away, so I decided to play along in the Sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers today. Here is the sketch -

pretty straight forward sketch this week. Not to much to think about, with lots of possibilities. Glad too, considering I am playing catch up, and still wanting to make a little time for me. :) I used some stamps that I think are feeling a little neglected lately on my card, Sew Suite, and Button, Button from the Occasion's mini. You only have until the end of April to purchase these Sets, and Papers too. Here is my sample -

With such a straight forward sketch, you can spend a little more time on the details, like I did here. I paper pierced, and hand cut my buttons too, to give it that extra special touch. :) Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. Details are below -

Hi All! Sorry I have been absent from the blogging world for the last week. The kiddos and I took a short road trip to St. Louis for our Spring Break. I had promised them a long time ago that we would be going on this trip, and then things got really tight for awhile, so we had to put it off. So with a lot sacrificing and penny pinching, we were able to take the trip this year. Were they ever excited too! They were packed before I could say a thing, and even offered to pack my bags for me. :) So we are back from a short vacation, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Right!!
Of course while the boys were busy playing in the pool, (after long days of visiting BORING historical sites on the trip), I got to catch up on the stack of scrap booking mags that have been collecting dust on my desk. I book marked a few sketches for inspiration, came home to the laundry room, (also known as Downstairs Designs) and was eager to get to scrapping. Here is the first page I completed -

This picture of my boys is one of my faves from when they were small. I have it framed, but not scrapped. I used some Concord Crush and Ice Cream Parlor DSP from this past Sale-a-bration. I didn't think that the pinks were something to worry about for a boy page, considering the pattern is really a geometric, and that they are giving me some daisies from the yard. :) So Sweet and Sincere! Hi all! I wanted to share another card with you that I made over my relaxing weekend. I am in that spring cleaning mood too! Getting organized, putting away things and scraps that I have acumulated on my cutting table. I mentioned in an earlier post that I am really committed to using up my older DSP's and in the process I am learning to rethink my scraps. Some are big and some are small, some left over from workshop cards, and so on and so on... Here is what I came up with for this scrappy card -
