For the Bride and Groom

Hey Everyone! I have a quick share this evening.. This weekend I will be attending a wedding, and wanted to share the card that I have made for the newlyweds.  I broke out some older papers, considering they are the brides colors, and a scrap of some old big box store DSP. Had to use it because it fit perfect -

I cased myself for this card, just changed up the colors, which I adore! Such beautiful combo of Purples and greens..I colored the image with copic markers, and am hoping that SU will come out with a similar color grouping with their new alcohol markers, blendabilites. I also made a scrap page/frame for them too, but do not want to share until I get permission from them considering I used their invitation/names on the page. So if I get the OK, I promise I will share that with you too! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Have a great weekend everyone!

For my Grads

Hey Everyone! I have a share today.. I made a card/invitation this afternoon for the Grads in my house. My beautiful step-daughter Cassidy is graduating from high school, and my oldest, who surprises me everyday with his wit and caring smile.. Sean, is graduating from middle school.

They are really very similar and very close, and it doesn't surprise me at all. I think he really looks up to her. :)
Happy times!
OK, onto the card... I used contraband, so please forgive me, but this occasions called for it.

I broke out my Paper Trey, By The Numbers dies, and some ancient Brilliant Blue card stock. I found a sheet of some big box store holographic DP. The congrats Grad and the congratulations banners are  from the SU set, Blue Ribbon. I punched a scallop circle the SU gold foil paper, and finally added the gold sequin trim and some piercing for detail. Really a straight forward card too. Love that! OK, off to bed for me.. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Fabulous Bags

Hey Everyone! I have been busy the last couple of days knocking out some last minute Teacher gifts. I am sure that some of you will recognize these little bags I have made, considering I make these for all kinds of occasions.

These are really just a larger version of a "Box in a Bag". There is a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers, for a smaller version, and that is where I got my idea. Here are the directions for the larger version. I really love making these bags as they come together with little effort, and make such an impact for what ever the occasion. OK everyone, gotta run and take advantage of the days good weather. :) As always, thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!
