It's your Birthday

Hi Everyone! I have a Birthday card to share today! It is my baby boy Ian's 10th birthday... I can hear him saying... "MOM! I'm not a baby any more...", I know he's not, but he still my baby! :) I sat down and actually made him a card with some new goodies, and a little bit of contraband too! You know me... I live by the motto use it if ya got it. So here is my card for Ian -

My card was actually inspired by a card made by Karen Thomas. Just changed up a few things. :)
I think it turned out Perfect!, and I am positive that I will be using this color scheme, and layout again..:) OK off to celebrate with Ian! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! :)

Dear Santa

Hi Everyone! Yep!...it's me... I have been a busy little bee like most of you out there these past couple of weeks, But I am finally done! That feeling of getting to the bottom of the list was an incredible one to say the least.! :) So today, is a ME day! I hope you all remember to take the time for yourselves too! So it being a "me" day, I decided to play along in my favorite Splitcoast challenge....Yep... the color challenge. Today's hostess gave us some really easy peasy colors to work with, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Always Artichoke. The dessert option was to use a button, and put it on top of a bow. These colors certainly lend themselves to Christmas or the holidays, so I did just that, made a holiday card. Here is my card -

So What do ya think? I used the sets Established Elegance from the main catalog, and Dear Santa from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I think they pair nicely! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! :)
